Over the past several weeks, we have been working hard in getting AB 3066 off the ground and moving. Thankfully, with the support from homeowners calling from all across the state, the bill finally began moving on June 20th. The next step was to get it passed at the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday, June 26th.
Last night, after 12 hours of waiting for the Senate Judiciary Committee to take up AB 3066, we are PLEASED to share that AB 3066 PASSED out of the Committee. We’ll update everyone with the final vote results as soon as we can. For those who are interested in what was said at the Committee hearing, you can view the live video at http://www.calchannel.com/video-on-demand/.
Congratulations to everyone who assisted in getting out the VOTE for AB 3066 (Stone) – The Mobilehome Residency Law Protection Act.
The photo in this post includes Assemblyman Mark Stone (Author of AB 3066), GSMOL President Michelle Smith, GSMOL Corporate Legal Counsel Bruce Stanton and GSMOL Leaders and Homeowners who stayed the ENTIRE day to testify in SUPPORT.
AB 3066 now moves to the Senate Appropriations Committee. Please stay engaged and informed on the NEXT STEPS.
We will need EVERYONE to help continue BUILDING the necessary MOMENTUM for success.
